In Action
 This
program recognizes that you can be part of the solution of today’s
social challenges. Through leadership retreats, local and national
networking opportunities, community service projects, technology
training, and statewide conferences on teen issues (such as global
awareness and teen violence), teenagers are empowered to become
caring, confident youth and future leaders
Teens
In Action
provides kindergarten through middle-school children
with service-learning opportunities in their communities. Children
develop leadership and teamwork skills and greater empathy for
others by identifying community needs and opportunities, choosing
service projects, implementing the projects, evaluating successes
and reflecting on the meanings derived from the service experiences. |
